Seriously, people: If you are using IE6 still (thats Internet Explorer 6 for those of you who have been living under an e-Rock for the last 6 years), I have a request: at the bear minimum (and by that I mean truly scraping the bottom of the barrel with respect to web standards compliance and security), upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 (hence forth IE7). If you are using Windows 2000 and hence not privy to upgrading to IE7, then I recommend you re-assess your choice of web browser and depart from the Internet Explorer Club all together (which I recommend before ever even touching IE for web browsing).

Here are a Few Choices of other Web Browsers to use in your persuit of improving the web experience, not just for yourself, but for the rest of the web community (seriously though - upgrading improves developmental capabilities and hence will mean a vastly improved web experience for the end user as a result!):

  1. Firefox

  2. Opera

  3. Safari

  4. Konqueror

Again, you will be improving the Web Experience for ALL by making the right choise and dropping Internet Explorer (which is the real way to upgrade). If you simply can't live without it, then at least use IE7 if not on Windows 2000 or newer. If you're still in a Windows 2000 world, then just dump the IE garbage all together and follow the path to web sanity...
