If you are updating your computer network, liquidating a business, or just want to properly dispose of a couple of household computers, you should consider recycling your systems.

The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that only 15-20% of e-waste is recycled, the rest of these electronics go directly into landfills and incinerators.

Furthermore, up to 38 separate chemical elements are incorporated into electronic waste items. These are generally halogens added to the plastic resin which easily leach off the material in hot weather, which is a problem because when disposed of, electronic waste is generally left outside. The flame retardants then seep into the soil and recorded levels are 93 times higher than soil with no contact with electronic waste.

Please do the right thing for our planet, give us a call at 203-789-8229 or email us and recycle your computers.
