When building a new website, design, functionality, and performance often take center stage. But one critical element that can’t be overlooked is web accessibility. At 3PRIME, we make ADA compliance a priority from the start — because an inaccessible website isn’t just a missed opportunity, it’s a legal risk and a barrier to real people who need to use your site.
Recently, while preparing to launch a new website for Quantum Behavioral Consulting, we took proactive steps to identify and resolve accessibility issues before the site went live.
Identifying Accessibility Issues with AccessiBe’s Free Scan
To begin, we used AccessiBe’s free accessibility scan tool to review the QBC site. The scan generated a detailed PDF report outlining accessibility issues and warnings that would prevent the site from being fully compliant with ADA guidelines. These types of issues can range from color contrast and missing alt tags, to keyboard navigation problems, heading structure errors, or improperly labeled form fields.
Left unresolved, such problems create barriers for users with disabilities — screen reader users may not be able to understand the content, visually impaired visitors may struggle to read text, and those relying on keyboard navigation may get stuck or blocked. From both a usability and legal standpoint, these issues must be addressed.
Fixing the Issues, One by One
Our team carefully worked through each of the flagged issues, applying fixes directly in Divi. This included:
- Adjusting colors and contrast to meet WCAG standards
- Adding or correcting alt text for images
- Improving heading structure for logical content flow
- Checking form fields for proper labels and instructions
- Verifying keyboard navigation across interactive elements
After implementing these changes, we ran a second accessibility scan to confirm improvements. The result: a clean report with zero issues, warnings, or notices.
Why Accessibility Compliance Matters
Web accessibility isn’t just a checklist — it’s a commitment to inclusivity and usability. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sets standards that websites must follow to ensure equal access for individuals with disabilities. Businesses that overlook this risk more than lost visitors: they risk lawsuits, penalties, and reputational harm.
More importantly, ensuring ADA compliance means your website is usable by a wider audience. That includes not just people with disabilities, but also users in different environments (e.g., mobile devices, poor internet connections, or bright sunlight on screens). Accessibility overlaps with usability — making your site easier to navigate for everyone.
3PRIME’s Proactive Approach
Our work with Quantum Behavioral Consulting highlights 3PRIME’s proactive approach:
- Scanning early and often to identify issues before they affect real users
- Applying fixes directly in Divi without compromising design or performance
- Validating with final scans to provide peace of mind before launch
By addressing accessibility before a site goes live, we ensure that clients aren’t caught off-guard later and can proudly say their site meets ADA standards.
Moving Forward
If you’re launching a new site or managing an existing one, accessibility needs to be on your radar. Free tools can help uncover issues, but experienced developers are essential to interpreting and fixing them correctly.
At 3PRIME, we combine technical expertise with a people-first approach to web design. Whether you’re building in Divi, WordPress, or another platform, we can ensure your website is accessible, compliant, and inclusive from the ground up.
