Bridges Healthcare Website Rebuild

PROJECT SUMMARY:

PROBLEM

Bridges Healthcare needed an updated way to display their website to their users, as their old site was slightly outdated. They needed to present a streamlined and convenient website that offers a well-organized and intuitive architecture enjoyed in a mobile-optimized experience for members and visitors, in both English and Spanish.

 

APPROACH

Our job was to reflect Bridges’ mission, culture, and values to attract referrals, donors, and potential new hires. We started with video conference design consultations with the client, and based on the client’s feedback started designing 2 “views” determining the specific design for the homepage and the general design for the rest of the website.

Then we created design mockups for the new website homepage on wide-display and mobile, as well as a generic inner page layout. The designs were delivered using our proprietary mockup viewer, and video conferences were scheduled to review them and gather feedback. Designs were updated as needed until they were approved.

A good portion of the rest of this process focused heavily on the content implementation for new websites. Based on the new website architecture and approved layout, we produced an editable Google Doc outlining each section of each web page, enabling the project owners to edit content easily and determine the length and organization of content for the new website. We also worked with the client together on organizing updated content that needed to change on the new site by doing weekly check-ins and edits page by page.

A place for the client to upload their own images was set up as well as scheduling a time with the client to take personalized photography of the building and employees to be used throughout the new website.

 

RESULTS

A well-organized site focusing on the client’s values and making it more image heavy and mobile responsive was created.
