New Branding & Online Presence for Stone Academy
Challenge: This iconic Connecticut brand, in business since 1864, needed a new identity to support their shift to focus on healthcare career training.
Stone Academy opened in Connecticut back in 1864 and has since been offering medical-related degrees and certificates to people looking to get into the medical field. With career-launching programs such as Practical Nursing, Medical Assisting, Patient Care Specialist, and Nurse’s Aide Programs, they train students to be ready for the medical field once they graduate. As a long-standing client of 3PRIME, they came to us looking for a fresh start, a rebrand of their school’s image to convey the quality of Stone’s educational programs, and generate new leads for the college.
We were tasked with creating a new web design layout that optimized the mobile responsiveness for mobile visitors (which made up a majority of their online traffic). They also wanted their new site to have a modern look and feel. As well as redesigning their online presence, we were also responsible for coming up with Stone’s new brand style. We created a new logo for them with a whole new set of brand guidelines that stretched out into the new site, as well as, their social media presence.
The final outcome is a great looking site that is now capable of being mobile responsive so they can reach a wider audience, a new brand image that reflects their healthcare background and history, and a better looking online presence as a whole.
