Thanks to the highly executed strategy 3PRIME presented and implemented, Waypoint Spirits saw massive growth in all areas. Waypoint experienced a 97.3% increase in Instagram engagement and a 61.1% increase in engagement on Facebook. Reach increased exponentially for both social channels with a 7.4k% increase on Instagram and a 386.5% increase on Facebook. Waypoint Spirits saw a follower growth rate of 14.1% on Instagram and 4.79% on Facebook in just 6 months. With a combination of general awareness ads, page promotion, and boosted content our targeted Facebook and Instagram ads contributed to these growths in reach, followers, and engagement.
Project Summary:
Waypoint Spirits, a Connecticut-based craft distillery, came to 3PRIME with the goal of building brand awareness, and engagement while driving in-store visits through both paid and organic social media postings. 3PRIME created an in-depth social media management strategy to execute Waypoint Spirits’ goals and help them drive business and awareness locally.
Problem:
We created a multi-faceted full-stack strategy and execution plan to address Waypoint’s major pain points. Our main goals fell into two major areas: Getting content of Waypoint Spirits and their products, developing a social media and paid ad strategy that utilizes the content we have obtained and created with engaging copy to build brand awareness, engagement and drive visits to the taproom.

Approach:

- Taking photographs and creating content for Waypoint Spirits Taproom & Products on a monthly basis
- Developing a social media and paid ads strategy that utilizes the content we have obtained and created with engaging copy to build brand awareness and engagement while driving visits to the taproom.

Waypoint Spirits required the skills of a photographer as well as a marketing strategizer to achieve their social goals, and with that, 3PRIME was able to develop solutions that met and exceeded their needs.
Social Media Management & Advertising
We developed a social media strategy that drives views from followers and non-followers by taking and creating high-quality creative and writing compelling copy for posts and paid ads, researching and deploying ad spend on the platforms that proved most effective – including Facebook, and Instagram.
Part of the ad strategy included targeting a local audience of people above 21 years old that are within a 30-mile radius of the taproom that have interests positioning them as high-value targets. We used these audiences and engagement from ads to further develop lookalike audiences to nurture new customers and build brand awareness. These audiences have continually been revised and updated to keep the audience fresh in our first 6 months of work.
We established an efficient monthly budget for ad spend and it was divided among platforms and campaigns. Thanks to our monitoring and reporting on the campaigns, we were allowed to review results and adjust on the fly in order to optimize performance.
